Adelaide North Jobs Fair

The Adelaide North Jobs Fair was held on Wednesday 10 November 2021 and brought together job seekers, employers and employment service providers to learn about the jobs on offer in the Adelaide region.

This event provided you with an opportunity to connect with businesses face-to-face and discuss job opportunities and career options across Adelaide North in more detail. There was also a number of workshops and presentations throughout the day to help you get job ready and secure your next role.

Exhibitors were available throughout the entire event to answer questions about the jobs on offer.

COVID-19 – Keeping you safe

We took a number of measures to keep our attendees safe while attending the Jobs Fair.

Hand sanitiser was available throughout the venue and regular cleaning of all public areas was conducted.

We also requested that anyone who felt unwell stayed at home and didn’t attend the Jobs Fair.

10:15 am Official opening Official Opening and Welcome to Country. Senator the Hon David Fawcett will be invited to make an opening address and thank Exhibitors and job seekers for attending.
11:00 am Workshop 1 “What Employers Want”. Do you know what employers are looking for when they hire? Hear from our panel of employers about the labour market in the Adelaide North region and what they look for when hiring new staff.
11:30 am Workshop 2 “Apprenticeships and Traineeships – What Employers Want”. Learn about   Employer must haves, how to apply, how to prepare and how to succeed.
12:00 pm Workshop 3 “Farm to Table” – Hear from the agriculture and food processing industries about the career opportunities involved in growing, producing and processing the food we eat.
