The Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) helps eligible child care services address barriers to child care participation, particularly in disadvantaged, regional and remote communities, as well as Indigenous communities. CCCF comprises four components of funding.

The CCCF Special Circumstances grant helps services stay open when something unexpected happens. This could be when a natural disaster, extreme weather event or pandemic threatens the ability of a service to remain open.

The CCCF Open Competitive Grant helps eligible services in disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. The grant gives eligible approved services funding to help them stay open and increase the number of children in care.

The CCCF Restricted Non-competitive Grant funds a specific set of services. This grant opportunity is closed. The grant supplements the Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy.

Connected Beginnings
The Connected Beginnings program aims to integrate early childhood, maternal and child health, and family support services with schools in selected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This helps children better prepare for school.

Business Support
Business Support is a free business review and advice service for eligible child care services. It is available to child care services experiencing financial viability or sustainability issues, particularly in disadvantaged or vulnerable communities.
