Connections for Quality displays information about employment services providers on the Australian JobSearch website, this includes how a provider can help job seekers and employers in their local area.
It aims to help job seekers and employers make informed choices when selecting an employment services provider (jobactive or Disability Employment Services provider).
Connections for Quality
Job seekers and employers can use the information on the website to help them choose a provider, they can also give feedback on their experiences with individual employment services providers.
Employment services providers can use Connections for Quality to promote their services to job seekers, employers and the wider community.
Service Delivery Plans for jobactive providers are published on Connections for Quality. Service Delivery Plans outline the services job seekers and employers can expect to receive from their jobactive provider. Plans can also be found on the services tab for each provider at JobSearch.

Information for employers
By going to the Australian JobSearch (AJS) website and searching for a provider you will be able to read about a provider’s services and skills to help you with your recruitment needs and find the most suitable employees for your business.
Providers are able to make available valuable information about their organisation and what they can offer you as an employer. Information such as:
- the business relationships they have within the local community.
- how they might specialise in a particular industry
- how they can work with you in addressing a recognised skills shortage in the region.
jobactive providers also publish their Service Delivery Plans on the services tab for each provider at JobSearch.
This information is provided in relation to Service Quality Indicators addressed by providers in AJS.
Not only can you utilise Connections for Quality to find a provider, you also have the ability to comment about services you may have received while working with one of the providers by completing a feedback form.
Information for job seekers
Connections for Quality will provide you with information about your local jobactive or Disability Employment Service (DES) provider.
By going to the Australian JobSearch (AJS) website and searching for a provider you will be able to read about their services and skills to help you find the best employment or training to suit your individual needs.
jobactive and DES providers are able to share valuable information about their organisation and what they can offer you as a job seeker under Service Quality Indicators.
jobactive providers also publish their Service Delivery Plans on Connections for Quality.
Not only can you use Connections for Quality to find a provider, you also have the ability to comment about services you have received while being assisted by a provider.
Under each Service Quality Indicator listed above, you will find a feedback form. This is where you can indicate if the information provided is enough for you to make an informed choice of provider to assist you to find a job.
You are also able to comment on your experience and satisfaction with provider services in relation to the information available to you. For example, if you have received helpful service from a provider, you would complete the feedback form under the Our Job Seekers tab, commenting on the services you received and what the provider did for you to make such a good impression.
Your feedback is not viewed by providers but sent by secure email to the Department of Education, Skills and Employment. Keeping this in mind, please note the feedback form is not a place to up load your CV, leave personal details or get in contact with a provider.
Information for jobactive providers
Connections for Quality is an opportunity for providers to showcase their organisation and any specialty services, relationships, or achievements that set them apart, particularly at a local level.
As well as their Service Delivery Plans, the Connections for Quality screen enables each jobactive provider to publish claims against each of the five Service Quality Indicators on the Australian JobSearch website.
Providers can use Connections for Quality to promote how their local service strategies and community connections help them deliver their services for the unemployed. Accordingly, this allows job seekers and employers to make more informed choices in relation to their individual needs when choosing a provider.
