Cadetships and advanced apprenticeships are available for women who want to upskill in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). This will help around 500 women get job-relevant STEM skills.
The STEM career program will:
Be delivered in collaboration with employers and universities
Allow women to work and earn a salary while studying
Award an Advanced Diploma in a STEM field after finishing
The new National Industry PhD Program that will add over 1,800 Industry PhDs over 10 years, helping to build a bedrock of research talent, skilled in university-industry collaboration, across the sector under the Increase Workforce Mobility initiative.
