COVID-19 – Keeping you safe

We took a number of measures to keep our attendees safe while attending the Jobs Fair.

Hand sanitiser was available throughout the venue and regular cleaning of all public areas was conducted.

We also requested that anyone who felt unwell stayed at home and didn’t attend the Jobs Fair.

What to expect

The fair will allow you to chat with employers, discuss current job opportunities and career options from a wide range of industries in and around the Hobart region. There will be a number of workshops you can attend on the day to help you get job ready and secure your next role.

You can also book a free one-on-one session on the day to have your résumé reviewed or have some interview practice with an experienced consultant.

What to bring

Hard copies of your résumé

We suggest you bring approximately 8 to 10 printed copies of your résumé with you that you can provide to potential employers on the day. If you don’t have access to a printer bring your résumé on a USB and print it at the fair. Computers and printers will be available on the day.

A USB with a copy of your résumé saved

We recommend you bring a USB with a copy of your résumé saved to the fair.  This will allow you to print additional copies of your résumé at the fair if required for potential employers and allow you to make any changes or updates to your résumé after working one on one with a résumé specialist on the day.

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is taking all precautions to ensure the event is COVID-19 safe for all participants. Details on entrance to the venue and COVID-19 safety instructions will be provided upon registration.
