Join us at the Perth South Jobs Fair, where job seekers, employers and employment service providers are able to network and discuss the jobs on offer in and around Perth.

Session two: 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm

Location: Optus Stadium, 333 Victoria Park Drive, Burswood WA

Looking for a job?


Parking

Free parking is available at Optus Stadium in the Mallee Loop, entry is via the bus station on Roger Mackay Drive. To access turn off Victoria Park Drive onto Roger Mackay Drive, turn right at the roundabout and enter the bus station.

Shuttle bus

A free shuttle bus will be provided by Thomsons Coachlines and leaving every 30 minutes from 9.00am from the following routes:

Route 1 - Claisebrook train station (Flinders St) - Optus Stadium - Claisebrook train station

Route 2 - Burswood train station (Glenn Place) - Optus Stadium – Burswood train station

What to expect

The fair will allow you to chat with employers, discuss current job opportunities and career options from a wide range of industries in and around Perth South. There will be a number of workshops you can attend on the day to help you get job ready and secure your next role.

You can also book a free one-on-one session on the day to have your résumé reviewed or have some interview practice with an experienced consultant.

What to bring

Hard copies of your résumé

We suggest you bring approximately 8-10 printed copies of your résumé with you that you can provide to potential employers on the day. If you don’t have access to a printer bring your résumé on a USB and print it at the fair. Computers and printers will be available on the day.

A USB with a copy of your résumé saved

We recommend you bring a USB with a copy of your résumé saved to the fair.  This will allow you to print additional copies of your résumé at the fair if required for potential employers and allow you to make any changes or updates to your résumé after working one on one with a résumé specialist on the day.

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is taking all precautions to ensure the event is COVID-19 safe for all participants. Details on entrance to the venue and COVID-19 safety instructions will be provided upon registration.

12:00 pm Make a great first impression Dress for Success will show you how to make a great first impression when you first meet and speak to an employer. First impressions DO count.
