Local Recovery Funds
A Local Recovery Fund of is available in the Adelaide North region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.
Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).
Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

Migrant and Refugee Employment Project | Adelaide Northern Division of General Practice trading as Sonder Care | Asuria People Pty Ltd Max Solutions Pty Ltd |
This activity will provide migrants and refugees aged 16 to 64 with integrated employment, vocational and mental health support to increase and sustain employment outcomes. |
Tech based training | Generation Australia | Workskil Australia Limited | This activity will deliver two online tech programs (Get into Cloud and Junior Web Development) to prepare participants for entry-level roles in the tech industry. Participants will also receive mentoring and career coaching during training and transitioning to employment. |
Northern Adelaide Plains Food Cluster Project | Northern Adelaide Plains Food Cluster | Workskil Australia | This activity will provide 40 job seekers the opportunity to participate in a one-month structured training program tailored to meet employers’ needs resulting in an apprenticeship or alternative employment in the horticulture industry. |
The Multicultural Employment Pathways Program | Australian Refugee Association Inc | Job Prospects Adelaide | The activity will provide 60 jobseekers of refugee or migrant background with support to undertake pre-employment workshops and participate in industry specific information sessions and visits. Participants will be supported throughout the project with translation services and bicultural case workers. |
Northern Adelaide Care and Support Workforce Project | National Disability Services Limited | Job Prospects | This activity involves a staged approach to attracting jobseekers to the care sector. Fifty job seekers will be initially screened via phone with forty undertaking industry specific online screening and an experiential ‘day in the life’ workshop to determine their continued interest and suitability for a career in the care sector. Twenty-five participants will then undertake industry specific pre-employment training and a minimum of twenty participants will participate in a work experience placement or gain employment. |
Pathway to Security Industry for Aboriginal People | Tauondi Aboriginal Corporation trading as Tauondi Aboriginal College | Job Prospects | This activity provides accredited and non-accredited pre-employment training to prepare 12-15 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander job seekers for employment in the security services industry. |
Pathway to Leadership with On the Run | On the Run Pty Ltd. | Workskil Australia | This activity involves a pre-employment program for job seekers who have previous leadership experience or an interest in leadership positions. The program includes an employer specific Management in Training course followed by on-the-job training. To compliment these activities, job seekers will receive mentoring and be supported by a trained buddy. |
