Local Recovery Funds

A Local Recovery Fund is available in the Perth – North region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.

Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).

Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

APM Employment Services

This activity involves pre-employment training, mentoring and employment placements for up to 48 participants in the civil construction industry.  The activity focuses on upskilling and retraining local participants to become work ready.

Mooridjadbing (Becoming Strong) Footprints Employment and Training Pty Ltd Serendipity (WA) Pty Ltd trading as Advanced Personnel Management (APM)

This activity is a pre-employment program that involves upskilling, mentoring and employment placement of up to 40 Indigenous participants. It will focus on supporting and mentoring participants to achieve national accreditations, enabling participants to obtain tickets in Rigging and Dogging. 

The objective of the activity is to place at least 28 participants into sustainable employment in the construction/mining industry.

Come Fly with Us Footprints Employment and Training Pty Ltd Serendipity (WA) Pty Ltd trading as Advanced Personnel Management (APM)

This activity is a pre-employment program that involves upskilling, mentoring and employment placement of up to 50 mature aged, women and/or Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander participants.

Upon successful completion of the pre-employment training, participants will be placed into employment with the Compass Group.

The objective of the activity is to place at least 35 participants into sustainable employment.

Empowered Threesixty Academy Pty Ltd AtWork Australia Pty Ltd The project, Empowered, will deliver 5−days of pre−employment training and aims to place up to 50 participants into employment with the employer Toll. The pre− employment training will provide essential skills for participants including accredited units of work in safety and risk mitigation and based on existing role descriptions and be developed in consultation with the employer.
Shine Multicultural Services Centre of Western Australia Incorporated Atwork Australia Pty Ltd This activity involves the delivery of a pre−employment and personal development program to at least 48 female CaLD participants in the Perth North Employment Region. The activity will focus on addressing employment barriers experienced by the CaLD cohort through soft skills training to promote confidence and independence.
