Local Recovery Funds

A Local Recovery Fund is available in the South West WA region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.

Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).

Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

Activity Name Organisation Partnering Employment Services Provider Description
Construction Ready for Work Indigenous Professional Services MAX Employment Bunbury The activity includes skills and job readiness training, mentoring and cultural support for Indigenous job seekers in a program provided by Indigenous Professional Services in the South West region of Western Australia.
Local Jobs Marketplace  Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry  Max Employment This activity involves the delivery of 6 industry focused Jobs Marketplace events that will bring together local employers and job seekers to promote career pathways and drive increased employment in target priority industries such as Civil Construction, Mining, Horticulture, Healthcare, Hospitality and Tourism.
Aboriginal Driver Training Program  Waalitj Foundation Max Employment This activity involves the delivery of driver’s license support and pre-employment mentoring to Indigenous participants in South West WA to help them find and keep employment.
Future Works Rural Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd APM Employment Services This activity aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of the diverse careers available in the primary industry of Agriculture, particularly Horticulture and Viticulture, in South West WA.  It will provide participants with tailored job readiness sessions, field trips, work experience and direct exposure to jobs in the industry.
