Local Recovery Funds
A Local Recovery Fund of $780,000 is available in the Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast region for projects that meet the priorities identified in the Local Jobs Plan.
Projects will be identified for funding through periodic Request for Proposals (RFP).
Please contact your local Employment Facilitator for information about the Local Recovery Fund and to discuss project proposals.

|Get Ready for a Cleaner Future – Indigenous Careers||Indigenous Workstars||MAX Employment Maroochydore||This activity includes an employment project run by Indigenous Workstars in Wide Bay and the Sunshine Coast. Working with Traditional Owners, it will prepare up to 100 Indigenous job seekers for employment opportunities in the renewable and sustainable energy industries.|
|Generations Connect||Skills Generation Pty Ltd||Sarina Russo Job Access Gympie||This activity includes a training and employment project for mature-aged female job seekers who have been displaced as a result of COVID-19 and contracting employment growth in the region. The project, run by Skills Generation, will reskill and support the employment of these women in the childcare sector on the Sunshine Coast.|
