The skills session of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Industry and Skills Council met in Sydney on 1 April 2016. The session was chaired by Senator the Hon Scott Ryan, Australian Government Minister for Vocational Education and Skills, and State and Territory jurisdictions were represented by Ministers, other than Western Australia and New Zealand.
At the meeting, members agreed to release the final Review of the National Partnership Agreement on Skills Reform. The report is now available on the National Partnership Agreement on Skills Reform page.
COAG Industry and Skills Council Communiqué: November 2015
The skills session of the Council of Australia Governments (COAG) Industry and Skills Council met in Hobart on 20 November. The session was chaired by the Hon Luke Hartsuyker MP, Australian Government Minister for Vocational Education and Skills. State and territory jurisdictions were represented by ministers with portfolio responsibility for skills. The Government of New Zealand is also a member of the Council.
