The Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements (BAC) and Completing Apprenticeship Commencements (CAC) Program is closed to new apprenticeship commencements. From 1 July 2022, the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System will support a more inclusive and sustainable economy, ensuring Australians receive quality training while in paid employment. It will help get apprentices working in secure jobs that are in demand, filling skills shortages
Learn about the programPaTH internships can help you hire an apprentice
Youth Jobs PaTH is an Australian Government employment service that helps young people gain skills and experience they need to get and keep a job.
PaTH Internships can support businesses to trial a young person in an internship for 4 to 12 weeks before committing to a formal Australian Apprenticeship. Businesses will receive $1,000 to help with the costs of the trial and may be eligible to receive additional financial incentives if they hire the apprentice.
