2020-21 Budget measures to support employment outcomes

The Government is providing funding in the 2020-21 Budget for a range of measures to support employment outcomes.

The Government will invest $295.9 million over four years to develop and deliver a new digital employment services platform. The new digital platform will transform the delivery of employment services in Australia, including the overhaul of the jobactive employment program to be replaced from July 2022.

As part of this reform, job seekers will have a range of diverse activities and supports that will facilitate their pathways to employment, including continued access to Youth Jobs PaTH from July 2022.
